Treat a gap longer thansec as a dive
π‘Whales often surface a few times in a row before a long dive β just tap "Log surfacing" every time you see one, including the short breaths between shallow dives. The gap setting decides how long a pause counts as "the dive" rather than a normal breath; you can adjust it anytime once you're tracking. Each surfacing also records this device's GPS location, if allowed. Starting a new pod archives the current session on this device β see "Past sessions" below to download it later.
